Well, the purpose of this thing is to keep in touch with everyone back in Minnesota, California or wherever while I'm in Tanzania. I don't leave until January 9th, at which point I'll be living in Dar es Salaam for about 5 months. Until then, I'll be chillin' in Berkeley.

Tanzania just seemed like a cool place, very different from anywhere I've ever been and I didn't think I'd get a chance to go there otherwise. Plus the program sounded awesome!
